Ian Garry was supposed to fight Vicente Luque at UFC 296, however, he had to withdraw from the match citing pneumonia. Ahead of their clash, it was revealed that Ian Garry’s wife, Layla Machado had written a controversial book and her ex is currently working as Garry’s nutritionist. The revelation served as a call to arms for Garry’s opponents, with Colby Covington leading the charge in trolling.

The American spared no effort in belittling Garry for his life choices, ‘Future’ was silent at that delicate moment but seems like he won’t be silent for long. After winning his bout against Geoff Neal at UFC 298, Garry took center stage to demand Dana White a matchup against Colby Covington. Exactly a month after his callout, Garry unleashed a video where he dared Covington to fight him in a WWE-style ‘I Quit’ match.

Covington, in his reply, demanded three simple stipulations for the fight. After receiving no reply from Garry regarding them, ‘Chaos made another video. The American reminded Garry of the three stipulations.’Choas’s approach to the reminder was a bit rash because he added personal attacks on Garry and his family. He said, “The only thing you are famous for is parading around a nutritionist’s sloppy seconds like she’s Miss Universe. She’s a 4 at best. We all know you love to cuck it up, but you are about to cuck your way out of the fight. So here it is one last time – agree to the stipulations”

He further added “Stipulation number one: Turn on the comments. Stipulation number two: Record Layla begging. Stipulation number three: Advertise the MyBookie promo. And we got a fight.” This reminder by Covington came after Garry made a video challenging him. So what did the undefeated Irishman say that irked ‘Chaos’ so much, let’s find out.

Ian Garry’s reply to Covington’s stipulations

Colby Covington’s three stipulations seem a bit far-fetched and seems like Garry would never agree with them. Garry took to his social media to leave a long message for Covington.  He reminded the former interim welterweight champion about his position as a laggard in the welterweight division.

“You’ll do as you’re told. You gave me three stipulations, all of which had nothing to do about fighting and were all talking about my wife. I don’t know how you were raised, but women aren’t property and my wife definitely ain’t no trophy. You should be focusing on me. I am the one who’s in that octagon with you. I’m the one who’s going to punch a hole in your head. So, stop swerving me and keep Layla’s name out your mouth. You’re not America’s favourite fighter. What you are is a peak underperformer. You’re the only person in UFC history to lose three world title fights, and you haven’t got a single win against anybody in the top 15 right now.” said Ian Garry in a video before challenging Covington for an “I Quit match.
