Rosie O’Donnell is one of America’s most prominent comics and actors of all time. She is also known for being a profound enthusiast of the UFC. In fact, she was among the spectators during UFC 296 when Leon Edwards defeated Colby Covington inside the cage.

A matchup that was within itself, less eventful than the things that unfolded before it. Colby Covington trash-talked about Edwards’ late father, Donald Trump showed up to support ‘Chaos’, and there was just a whole lot of drama. One thing, however, was clear. O’Donnell couldn’t stand Covington. And she made it clear in a recent video.

It’s a rather common theme now that many people are against Colby Covington. In a recent episode of Tucker Carlson’s show, he showed a clip of Rosie O’Donnell putting ‘Chaos’ on blast. In fact, she went ahead and asked Dana White to just “do better” with his UFC roster.

“Trump just arrived at the UFC 296 cuz he loves Colby Covington,” she told her followers on Instagram. “And Leon Edwards I hope is going to smash his face because I can’t stand Colby Covington and I can’t stand Donald Trump and the one thing I hate about the UFC is that he ruins it every time he shows up. I mean come on Dana White you got to do better”

Do you think Covington’s character is so worth hating on? He has certainly been bashed by many, especially after his loss. In fact, heavyweight champ Jon Jones was so happy with Edwards defeating Covington that he offered to gift the champion a brand new motorcycle!

Clearly, it shows a lot about the world and people’s points of view in general. Covington’s idol, Donald Trump, was certainly present at the arena when the fight went down. However, once ‘Chaos’ had lost, Trump walked out before Covington could finish his speech. Is this a sign of great betrayal? Perhaps more hurtful were the boos that came his way from an audience that was cheering his name just a few minutes before. So how does Covington feel about the hate?

‘Chaos’ is okay with it all

Covington appeared on the same show with Carlson to speak about his life and the beliefs he holds dear. He noted how being a million-dollar athlete has really come in handy. It’s all because of his fame and the financial freedom that comes his way because of his career. But with all of that comes a lot of hate.

For ‘Chaos’ it is now an enjoyment. He told Carlson that he, in fact, enjoys being hated. He likes to prove people wrong and do things he’s expected to not be able to do. Clearly, this is a way of life that is not found very commonly, but Covington soaks in every single moment of it. He has made sure he sells his fights to the highest extent possible, and the numbers are with him too. The only thing that’s not with him is the welterweight title. Will he attain the belt any time soon?
