Fans and fighters flame stoppage as Bobby Green floored
Before the clock hit its 3-minute mark in the very first round, Bobby Green was out of it. Turner managed to punch him down to the point where Green seemed almost passed out. But should that have been the case? Fans and fighters are speaking out about a late stoppage because the ref let Turner hit Green to the extent that it was excessive.

Green looked like he had been knocked out cold after a brutal ground and pound that could have been stopped earlier.

That is one of the worst stoppages I have ever seen.

What did you think about the stoppage of the fight? While it was a rather spectacular knockout, it never needs to go so far. Even Turner himself was surprised regarding the whole thing. But at the end of the day, it’s part of his work. Here’s his take on the situation.
Jalin Turner’s comment
Turner too seemed to believe that the stoppage was too late. It shouldn’t have been this way to begin with. In a later conversation, the winner of the match opened up about the whole situation and he wasn’t in favor of the ref either.

“I ain’t gonna talk down on the ref, but yes, I am.” Said Turner later on. The ref himself Kerry Hatley is a professional who must’ve had some understanding of the situation. Yet it all fell short.
