

Jiri Prochazka recently appeared on a podcast where he discussed his recovery from injury and his plans for the future. The Czech fighter revealed that he was feeling great and was redirecting his energy toward breathing exercises, sleep, and recovery. Moreover, the former light heavyweight champion also stated that he is grateful for the injury in some ways because it gave him a fresh perspective on his overall fitness. Dana White regarded his injury as the “worst injury” that he has ever seen.
Additionally, Prochazka went on to reveal what he was going to do next and what will be the timeline of his return to the UFC. The fans are expecting his return to be up against Jamahal Hill for the UFC light heavyweight championship.

Jiri Prochazka is unsure of a fight against Jamahal Hill in August
Prochazka spoke about his upcoming fights, with Jamahal Hill being the first on the list. The former champion praised Hill’s performance against Glover Teixeira. He also disclosed that the strategy Hill displayed was what his team recommended he do in his title fight. Prochazka also gave credit to the Brazilian for his display of toughness in his loss to the young champion.

The Czech fighter stated that the fight against Hill in August at UFC 292 is still too soon for him. As reported, he does not want to return just because he is healthy; he wants to return at his 100%. Moreover, reports suggested that Prochazka would bide his time to focus on recovery and is unfazed by Hill’s comments.
The former champion also reminded Hill that he would not have been a champion had Prochazka not vacated his belt honorably. Subsequently, he also asked ‘Sweet Dreams’ to show some gratitude.
Jiri Prochazka could also face Khamzat Chimaev once “100%” fit
The former UFC light heavyweight champion stated that he is not bothered by him. ‘Denisa’ acknowledged Chimaev’s talent and skills but mentioned that ‘Borz’ is still in a different weight class. It is also reported that he has no problem fighting him when he is at 100%.
