Dana White revealed his plans for Ireland and the status of Conor McGregor

TNT Sports’s Adam Catterall sat down with the UFC CEO as they discussed UFC 296. With the year coming to an end, he asked Dana White if the UFC has plans for the UK next year. The 54-year-old had some positive things to say. He mentioned how many times the UFC has come to England, especially London. However, they will be changing the location this time out.

“We need to get back to Manchester,” said Dana White. “we need to get back to some of these some of these [popular] cities in England.” There, he mentioned that not only the UK, but Ireland is also under the radar for an UFC event next year.

“But it won’t be the UFC first. It’ll be something else first that I’m going to Ireland with like to go to Ireland twice next year, hopefully,” White said after which Adam Caterall asked the question that also fans want to know and that is if Conor McGregor was returning.

However, Dana White did not give any definitive answer to questions about McGregor’s return. However, he did have something to say about how he feels about the Irishman coming back for some Octagon action.

White leaves it up to ‘The Notorious’

The 54-year-old promoter talked about the success that Conor McGregor’s brand has become. Dana White acknowledges the fact that the former double champion is one of the richest sportspersons in the world with his own ventures. Hence, a return to the UFC is a decision for McGregor to make. White said, “I say it all the time, Conor is extremely wealthy and has a lot of different options in his life. When Conor gets that hunger back and really wants to come back and fight, it’s all up to him.”

But Dana White assured that he is not going to force a comeback from Conor McGregor. The Irishman is having great success as a businessman and it’s his call. “If you see what the guy has accomplished in such a short amount of time, the amount of money that he’s made, and the business opportunities that he’s taken outside of the Octagon, Conor can do whatever the hell Conor wants to do and good for him,” The 54-year-old added.
