Conor McGregor has taken over the world once again as a coach for TUF 31. The Irishman has never failed to stay relevant even when he was out of action for a couple of years. Another name that pops up when one thinks of the strongest fighters is Stephen Thompson. With kicks that could literally destroy a man, ‘Wonderboy’ has dominated the internet through his fighting skills and YouTube channel.

Recently, the two fighters met at the UFC Performance Institute Apex and posed for the camera. Without a doubt, the picture took over the netizens as they showered their love and support for the fighters. However, when a similar photograph from the past slithers in beside the latest picture, it creates an uncommon emotion altogether. Such a phenomenon happened when a decade old picture was placed beside the latest image. Unquestionably, the fans couldn’t keep their emotions in check as they stormed through the comments section.

Stephen Thompson was surprised at the difference in the photos

Recently, ‘Wonderboy’ took to Twitter and shared a recent picture and a 10-year-old picture of him and ‘The Notorious’. Their growth obviously impressed the welterweight warrior. He wrote, “#TBT – 10 years later … what a life!”

Undeniably, the fans were equally impressed with the photos and took over the comments to express themselves.

Few of the fans also noticed that the ‘Mystic Man’ had put on a bit more muscle than before and hence, looked bulkier.

The fans noticed Thompson seemed as if he hadn’t aged at all.

Furthermore, some fans talked about how the two have grown within the past decade.

Nevertheless, the fans deemed the fighters to be the greatest of all time.

The shoot for TUF has commenced and McGregor has once again taken over the netizens’ attention. However, ‘Wonderboy’ didn’t fail to come out of the shadows. He revealed his desire to coach against McGregor.

The challenge for Conor McGregor

The former double champion previously took to social media and shared his joy of getting selected to coach in the TUF with the world. He wrote about his experience in TUF 22 and the nostalgia he felt.

However, Thompson  revealed the TUF rejected him before the time of his debut. Furthermore, he wished to coach against someone like ‘The Notorious’. He wrote, “Most people don’t know I tried out for TUF before I made my debut. They ended up not taking my weight class. Would be amazing to coach against Conor. Always hoped I’d be able to share the octagon with a legend like him.”
