Regardless, fans were eager for an update but the UFC supremo at the post-fight press conference emphasized that he would not talk about McGregor’s return, until of course he gets the green light that Mac is up and about. Yet, it appears that McGregor might have changed the UFC supremo’s mind.

Conor McGregor is optimistic about his potential return

After the entire UFC 303 fiasco calmed down, Conor McGregor emphasized that he would most likely return to the Octagon during AUgust-September, however, this time none of the fans took him seriously as even Dana White advised Michael Chandler to not wait for ‘Notorious’ if he wants t move forward in his career as he has been inactive for almost two years.

Well, when everything started to look a bit rough, Conor McGregor came forward as a beacon of hope. How? Well, the former dual weight champion took to his X handle to add a tweet in which he formulated his comeback plan. “I talked to Dana today about our new date, all looking good! 24’ for sure,” said McGregor.

Chandler was looking for a replacement fight after Dana White advised him to not wait for McGregor but to hold up. As soon as McGregor posted this tweet, Chandler reshared it with a handshake emoji.
