Sean O’Malley is famed for his trendy hairstyles, brilliant kickboxing skills, and elite-level striking. The 27-year-old is one of the rising prospects in the bantamweight division of the UFC. The ranked fighter is currently on a three-fight winning streak with his latest win over Raulian Paiva at UFC 269.
‘Sugar’ is known for his funny and controversial remarks and recently sparked a funny controversy with his comments regarding Conor McGregor.
Speaking on his podcast ‘Bromalley Show’, O’Malley picked Conor McGregor to beat three welterweight division fighters. Current champion Kamaru Usman, top-ranked Colby Covington, and an unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev at “any weight, anytime, any place.”

While talking about the upcoming Gilbert Burns v Khamzat Chimaev fight at UFC 273, ‘Sugar’ commented, “C*mshot [Khamzat] and Gilbert, that’s coming up. I cannot f***ing wait for that.” He, later on, added, “There’s one man, though, that can take all those motherf***ers out, Conor McGregor. Any weight, any time, any place. I think he beats Kamaru, C*mshot, and Colby. Left hand.”

This doesn’t come as a surprise considering O’Malley has previously called McGregor one of his idols in the sport. However, the ‘Notorious’ Irishman is yet to come back to fighting following his horrific leg injury last year.
Is Conor McGregor returning soon?
‘The Notorious’ is not one to give up and, as expected, McGregor is already planning an early return to the UFC. In a recent video, the former UFC double champ could be seen having an open pad workout session.

However, there is still some time before the Irishman makes a return to the Octagon. Despite knowing the utmost fight McGregor has in him, there are many concerns regarding whether he could return to his best after such a horrific injury.

Recently, UFC president Dana White gave his opinion on the same. While appearing on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, White doubted whether McGregor could manage his lifestyle with the high-intensity sport.

White remarked, “I don’t know man, it’s just… It’s how much desire does he have to keep doing this. And what kind of a level can he maintain with the lifestyle that he has now. You know what I mean? He’s got s**tloads of money. You know this isn’t a business where you make s**tloads of money and stay on top; Unless you’re a very special individual, mentally and in every other way.”
