However, his subsequent comment reveals a mix of indifference and resilience. McGregor bluntly states – “ ahh f*ck it. Although I know he has always had retirement on his mind. He has never really wanted it. I don’t really think. It is what it is. He says he has had a conversation with his mother, and talked to her for three days. So it is what it is, I couldn’t give a f*ck.”
When someone asked McGregor if the former champ is disappointed that he will not get a rematch with his rival, he said – “It will happen. I don’t believe it. I’m good,” he added.
