UFC CEO Dana White had also recently indicated that while the Irishman was ready to fight again, he wasn’t sure about the comeback happening this year. Despite not getting into the Octagon against one another, Chandler and McGregor haven’t stopped firing shots on social media. In a recent video online, McGregor showed off his striking skills by hitting a wall-mounted pad without gloves on. Chandler replied by asking the Irishman to show his “bare foot knuckles” instead.

The Irishman responded by firing back and stating, “Hey bum beggar — the foot is fully healed”. With the injury now healed and both men agreeing to a December date, what does it mean for Dana White’s previous claims that McGregor won’t be fighting this year? According to Chandler, that may just have been a ploy from the UFC boss!
