Conor McGregor gets the support of a former heavyweight champion
According to Daniel Cormier, former heavyweight champion, McGregor was the reason behind the success of Proper 12. For Lobov to take credit would be incoherent. Also, he thinks the original double champion has been a great friend to Lobov as he gave him many opportunities that he was not supposed to get. Reflecting on the same, he stated, “Lobov’s UFC career was helped because of the relationship he had with McGregor. It’s not like he was having a ton of success inside the Octagon.”
