Conor McGregor “Has Not Won a Fight Since Obama Was a President”: Khabib’s Manager Makes Dana White Claim

The UFC lightweight division has become a bit of a mess following the events of UFC 274. Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira missed weight, lost his title on the scale, but beat Justin Gaethje to become the number 1 contender. However, he would still need a dance partner to restore his position as the champion.
During an interview with the MMA journalist, Dave Schmulenson aka The Schmo, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, talked about the state of the division. He believes his client, Islam Makhachev, deserves the title, but Oliveira’s call out to face Conor McGregor could thwart those plans.

Schmo quizzed Abdelaziz about the possibility of UFC inserting Conor McGregor into the title picture despite facing multiple losses. Abdelaziz fired back by stating that Dana White will never award him a title shot with a losing streak.
He said, “Nobody cares about Conor McGregor. He has not won a fight since Obama was a president. You know, he is just, he is popular because he is a Twitter fighter now. You know… he is an Instagram fighter. But, when the last time he fought in there and show us he like worthy enough to fight for UFC title?”

Abdelaziz’s claims seem dubious, as McGregor has indeed won a fight since Barack Obama left the White House. The Irishman locked horns with ‘Cowboy’ Donald Cerrone and secured a quick first-round finish at UFC 246.

Who will the UFC president choose to face ‘Do Bronx’ for the vacant title? Will ‘The Notorious’ change his mind about lightweight if he gets a guaranteed title fight?
