Conor McGregor might make posts on social media to promote his brands and take aim at certain people, but that’s not the end of his use of those platforms. Recently, the Irishman expressed his solidarity with the martyrs and victims of the horrific and tragic 9/11 attacks. On the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the incident, McGregor shared a heartfelt message for those who were affected by the attacks.

Tomorrow we remember those lives lost on 9-11 in an attack on our ally, the United States. I look forward to joining antorrelief.org to raise funds and honor their work,” Conor McGregor wrote on X, revealing that he’s collaborating with the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. This non-profit organization is responsible for providing any form of financial assistance on a direct basis to the families of victims of the 9/11 attacks.

A few hours after his tweet, Conor McGregor went on to share a few snaps from his visit to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund on Instagram. Flanked by his fiancée, Dee Devlin, and the American businessman and the US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, and his family. “Great day with dear friends, the Lutnick family! At Cantor Fitzgerald honouring and supporting the victims of 9/11 and their families! We will NEVER FORGET!”

Well, that’s not the only initiative Conor McGregor has undertaken to cater to the victims of 9/11. In fact, the former UFC double champion has also collaborated with Donald Trump Jr. in raising awareness and funds for various charities related to the attacks 24 years ago. McGregor has combined his philanthropic spirit with Trump Jr.’s support for the first responders for a joint effort.

Conor McGregor has been helping out people who work for the betterment of those affected by accidents and criminal acts. And that’s where the first responders come in, and guess what? The UFC star once repaid the efforts of the 9/11 first responders, and that, too, in cash.

When 9/11 happened, a lot of first responders, in their attempt to help the civilians stay safe, lost their lives in the line of duty. As such, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established thereafter to cater to the families of these fallen first responders, which is an initiative that moved Conor McGregor. So what does he do? Well, the Irish superstar and presidential aspirant shelled out a million dollars, earning praise from the organization.

“What we do as a foundation is that we relieve the mortgages of the first responders who died in the line of duty that have young kids left behind,” FDNY hero Stephen Siller’s brother told TMZ. “So, this will go to many, many houses, depending on what part of the country it is — but that’s what Conor wanted… Conor, you’re gonna change the lives of many great heroes and the families left behind.”
