While having a conversation with ESNEWS, the former two-weight world champion was asked about his intention to clash with Conor McGregor, to which M͏͏͏͏al͏i͏͏g͏͏n͏͏a͏g͏͏g͏͏i emphasized that he would love to fight ‘Mystic Mac’ considering the fact that his rules are at play rather than the rules of any other commission, “You know what, I work with BYB, but Conor having joined up in BKFC is a good pretend fighter. I’ve always said he’s a great pretend fighter. I think he’s more made for wrestling than he is for fighting. In fact, he gets his a– whooped every time he fights. [He] kind of tells you that too, kind of leads you in that direction,” said M͏͏͏͏al͏i͏͏g͏͏n͏͏a͏g͏͏g͏͏i.

M͏͏͏͏al͏i͏͏g͏͏n͏͏a͏g͏͏g͏͏i considered how interesting it would be. The potential for a substantial sum of money captured his thoughts. Reflecting on how it all began, he couldn’t help but think about the financial opportunities that lay ahead. The boxer explained that the fight would certainly drag people to watch it – “So, the fact that I’m not starving for money,… we could do it. And I’ve always said we could do it winner-takes-all, you know? We could do it winner-takes-all, boxing, MMA, bare-knuckle – we could do it.”

͏͏He furt͏h͏er emphasized t͏hat m͏oney fi͏g͏hts ͏mig͏ht͏ pose a problem for some c͏o͏mmi͏ssions, but͏ he pe͏rsonally offered a solution to address it, ” And then you say, you know, every commission doesn’t allow that winner-take-all. So, you know, we would do, we would do like a contract where the loser gets like $40,000, which is nothing….  And that way it wouldn’t technically be winner-take-all. And you could run around the rules. And you could get around that rule for the commission.”

His callout is yet to be answered by Conor McGregor, who is rather busy with other important stuff that needs to be taken care of immediately. Regardless, it appears that the comeback date for ‘Mystic Mac’ is all set now.
