Former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo has treaded into the coaching role and steadily built himself up as a reputed coach. ‘The Messenger‘, who was most famous for training the Brazilian ‘God of War’ Deiveson Figueiredo to reclaim the flyweight championship, now has two former UFC champs in his camp and two title challengers.
However, in Irishman Conor McGregor’s eyes, this means nothing as he believes Cejudo is just a “little fat midget”. ‘The Notorious‘ iterated the same on Twitter.
The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion wrote, “The audacity of this little fat midget novice to be holding a kick pad for cris cyborg. Look at the state of him omg. Fat midget novice. @HenryCejudo u are a little fat midget novice”
This rebuttal came when Conor McGregor spotted Cejudo training Cris Cyborg, i.e. former UFC featherweight champion and current Bellator MMA featherweight champion.
What is the beef between Conor McGregor and Henry Cejudo?
Conor McGregor and Henry Cejudo are very unlikely rivals. Although both of them have a lot of similarities, being double champions in the UFC and also masters of trash-talking, they are classes apart in terms of fighting, literally, weight classes apart.
‘The Messenger’ has only competed in the flyweight division, whereas McGregor had previously lit up the featherweight and lightweight divisions, with some occasional appearances in the welterweight class as well.

Dana, I needed a break. Honestly, it was getting boring beating up TJ Pillashaw in under a minute and Dominick Snooze in 2. I got married, had a kid and am now rejuvenated. I wanna be 4C. If I beat up an old guy at a bar and learn how to Riverdance will you give me a shot? https://t.co/xdfPUZxwDM

However, every UFC fighter, in general, has a problem with the special that the Irishman gets from the UFC’s top brass. Sometimes it can be a fight purse that might outdo all the other fighters’ pay, combined. Or the opportunities the UFC gives McGregor time and again. Cejudo voiced the same a while ago and hence began the rivalry between two unlikely legends.
