It has been four years since Conor McGregor was a champion in the UFC. ‘The Notorious’ was inactive after he beat Eddie Alvarez in 2016, and hence, was stripped of the lightweight title in 2018. While he couldn’t capture UFC gold on his return at UFC 229, he might now have the chance to do so.
Jorge Masvidal, who was last seen in action against Colby Covington at UFC 272, appeared on the Blockasset podcast. When asked if he would defend his BMF belt against McGregor, ‘Gamebred’ said, “I’d bring out the BMF belt only for a bad motherf****r and some cash money.”

The 170-pound fighter further added, “You a bad motherf****r and got some money? Let’s put some money. Let’s get a little escrow going, you know?”
He also said, “I put a couple million aside, you put a couple million aside, and it comes with the belt. It’s a cherry on top. That’s what a bad motherf****r would do is get this money. So it’s there, you know, but it has to be right, under my stipulations, and with that belt, I’m like a f*****g tyrant.”
