A photo uploaded by media person Oscar Willis is currently catching the attention of the netizens. The photo was of Buffer trying a remarkable limb stretch just outside the octagon. The photo portrayed the announcer’s attempt to stay fit and his dedication towards the super fight. One would find the candid picture of the millionaire announcer funny. Furthermore, it successfully captured the eyes of UFC superstar Conor McGregor and UFC 284’s lead commentator, Jon Anik.

Under the Instagram post, Willis wrote, “Limber up, it’s fight night.” Many made hilarious comments on the post. The play-by-play commentator Jon Anik commented “lol.” Under Buffer’s “limber up pose,” while UFC icon McGregor wrote, “essential.” It is less known that Buffer is a former martial artist, and certainly knows how to hype up the fighters before the showdown with his magnanimous voice.

It is quite surprising to see both their reactions under the post. For Anik, UFC 284 was extremely special in a lot of ways. The former ESPN anchor joined as the play-by-play commentator of UFC in 2012. Anik became the voice of UFC 284 as the lead commentator. The former UFC champions Michael Bisping and Dominick Cruz accompanied him, and the trio’s voice made the fights all the more exciting. On the other hand, ‘The Notorious’, who is all set to make his comeback to the octagon, was eagerly waiting for the match; his comment makes it quite clear.

Bruce Buffer’s journey to the top

The UFC was founded in 1993, and Buffer stepped foot into the promotion in 1996 to announce the preliminary fight at UFC 8. Soon afterward, the entertainer played the announcer role for all the UFC 10 fights.
