

UFC megastar Conor McGregor took to social media and responded to the praise that his charity outreach work has been getting. McGregor is anything but ‘Notorious’ outside the cage and the upliftment and charitable outreach are of utmost importance to him. Additionally, his charity work has been recognized on nationally syndicated news for the massive impact it has had.
Conor has done major work for COVID-19 relief throughout Ireland right from the start of the pandemic. Chiefly, his whiskey brand ‘Proper 12’ has enabled him to donate $100,000 towards a COVID-19 fund. What’s more, the donations are flooding in through the sale of t-shirts and all the proceeds go to charity.

The Irishman shared his gratitude over his feature in the news segment that has recognized his outreach. Through ‘Proper 12’, $1.2 million was available to aid COVID-19 responders and the affected families.

Conor McGregor: A man of many talents
‘The Notorious’ has been at the helm of several successful business ventures that have bourne much fruit. ‘Proper 12’ has been a home run ever since its launch and has helped him climb the Forbes Chart. McGregor has effectively utilized the platform that he’s made for himself through life in the fight game.
However, becoming a world champion still remains a key focal point for the Irishman, and he’s looking to make a comeback. The former double champion last fought back in January 2020, where he stopped Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds. The lighting quick TKO win reminded fans of the power and dynamic skill set that he possesses.

The UFC is targeting a return for their biggest star at UFC 257 in January 2021. He’s geared to scrap against Dustin Poirier in what will be a long-awaited rematch. Not to mention, the lightweight belt will soon be up for grabs as Khabib Nurmagomedov has announced his retirement.

This opens up the door for the UFC to have Conor fight for the vacant title against Poirier. There is no doubt that business booms when McGregor has a belt on his shoulder. His presence alone brings forth an elevated sense of visibility to the sport as a whole.
