A fan reached out to him on Twitter and told him about his son. “Hey @TheNotoriousMMA, my sons just had brain surgery, never complains, always smiling. He’s a big fan of yours, and I would love it if you could give him a message or thumbs up to keep his spirits up,” the fan said.

It was a story of a young man braving through his circumstances and fighting hard. McGregor replied, “Get this young man a pair of “McGregorFast” gloves and some “McGregorFast” merchandise! A real fighter, Luca!

It must have made the young fans day, and the dad responded to Conor. He appreciated the fact that the Irishman took the time out from his busy schedule to make his kid’s day. Amazingly, former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk also retweeted the tweet and sent her love to Luka.

Conor McGregor and his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier

When he’s not making people’s day on Twitter or participating in public feuds with them, he’s training for his UFC career. He will face Dustin Poirier for the third time in just under two months. ‘The Notorious’ won their first fight in 2014; ‘The Diamond’ won their second fight in 2021.

Now, at UFC 264, bragging rights will be on the line. This is a must-win match for Conor as a victory over the top-ranked contender would guarantee a title shot against the new champion, Charles Oliveira.
