“I am proud and excited for Sweet Love–they are headed for mega stardom.” Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor had nothing but praise for the all-girl band earlier this year after signing the outfit to his label, Greenback Records. The group made their debut in April with the track ‘Bad Guy’, and now, their follow-up song has marked an important milestone.

Conor McGregor and Sweet Love celebrate their first radio play

“He did repost one of our posts this evening, so if you’re listening, Conor, good evening to you. It’s lovely to know that you’re listening,” the host said during the show. “He described them as the biggest girl band since the Spice Girls, and you know what, I’m not gonna lie, I’m not gonna tell Conor McGregor that he is wrong. Simple as that.”

“The group is called Sweet Love, and the track is called ‘I Hate You So Much.’ This is a first play,” they added before playing the song. Conor McGregor shared a clip of the moment, accompanied by members of ‘Sweet Love’ listening to the live radio show, as they celebrated the moment. McGregor promptly responded to the message from the host on Instagram.

Now, ‘The Notorious’ has revealed the staggering price tag for his potential return to the Octagon. “$100 million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S. ‘Golden Visas’ for myself and family and friends,” McGregor wrote. “I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!”

Conor McGregor’s last appearance in the Octagon was in 2021 before suffering a broken leg against Dustin Poirier. Whether he gets paid the money he wants is yet to be seen, but for now, he appears to be celebrating with ‘Sweet Love.’ Have you listened to the song?
