Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have a history with each other. The duo fought each other twice in their career. They have a record of 1-1, McGregor knew something which the other overlooked and what was that? It was Diaz’s relentless effort to make a comeback. Well, the former dual weight champion of the world wagered $500,000 on Diaz even though he was the underdog in the clash.

His $500,000 investment has made him a massive $1.6 million. Well, Conor McGregor is happy with his assessment. He took to his social media handle to add some tweets after the victory. The first tweet was a congratulatory tweet by him, “THE RICH GET RICHER!!! Well done Nate, congrats!”

He further added, “Yacht fuel.” Regardless, Nate Diaz’s reaction to knowing about the bet was hilarious and well worth watching. When the Journalist informed him that he made a massive $1.6 million to McGregor, Diaz reacted with just a “That’s cool.” Interestingly, McGregor reacted to this interaction as well.

‘Notorious’ took to his X to say, “I make ya so much money you can swim in it!” Well, Nate Diaz did make him a million dollars richer and it must be noted that Diaz will be paid a massive $500,000 for his fight from the promotion as well.
