Conor McGregor, in a recent tweet, revealed who besides him is the highest-earning fighter in the UFC. Recently, ‘The Notorious’ has got his Twitter fingers moving, and he has had a reaction to each and everything that has been going on in the UFC.

Now, he has got competition as ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya has signed a new deal that makes him one of the highest-paid fighters in the promotion. McGregor himself revealed via a Tweet that Adesanya is indeed the second-highest-paid beside him.

“Congrats Paradigm Sports Management Agency! Number 1 and 2 highest paid on the ufc roster contractually. Myself and Izzy. An excellent feather in the cap of an amazing sports agency. @ParadigmSports! Congrats to all my team and a big congrats last night Israel ❤️,” McGregor Tweeted.

The Irishman, in terms of making big bucks, has dominated the premier promotion since his advent into the bigger picture. While other fighters and even champions were earning $100k, McGregor was raking in millions of dollars for each fight.

Now, as Adesanya comes close to McGregor’s purse, this just proves that the sport has moved away from the one-man show produced by McGregor and has become mainstream.

However, this has put some questions in the mind of YouTuber turned Boxer Jake Paul, who is happy for Adesanya but has some problems with UFC fighter pay as a whole.

Jake Paul responds to Conor McGregor

Paul has been in the limelight since he defeated Tyron Woodley in their rematch. Even before that, ‘The Problem Child’ has been raising the issue of fighter’s pay on multiple platforms.

With McGregor tweeting about another UFC superstar on par with his purse, Paul couldn’t stop himself and compared both of them and showed them the difference between their combined takeout and that of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.

“Indeed well deserved for Izzy but but unfortunately Tyson Fury still makes more than both of you combined for fighting. Conor when you gonna start playing your part to get ALL fighters better pay and healthcare?”
