The legacy Conor McGregor has built, carrying the UFC for the better part of the 2010s, has made him a star, not just in the eyes of the UFC fans, but also in the eyes of some celebrities. As such, Florida’s own rapper Kodak Black recently gave his take on the Mount Rushmore of ‘performers’, and yes, it includes musicians as well, but guess what? McGregor found his way onto that list.

“Performers? Conor McGregor, me, and I’ll say, Muhammad Ali, motherf—— Michael Jackson and Elvis [Presley],” Kodak Black told ‘The Schmo’. It’s not a big surprise anyway given that Black recently visited Marbella in Spain to witness the BKFC action, where Conor McGregor doubled the payouts of the main eventers of the PPV.

How did Conor McGregor end up becoming friends with Snoop Dogg?

Yes, Snoop Dogg has forged an unlikely friendship with Conor McGregor over the years. In fact, when the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper came to the Irish capital of Dublin in 2023, ‘The Notorious’s alcoholic beverage brands sponsored the Long Beach-based artist. Moreover, McGregor even took the opportunity to join Dogg on the stage to greet the fans who came to see the rapper perform.

In addition to that, Snoop Dogg and Conor McGregor have also been seen hanging around with each other, which was apparent from the many posts the former UFC double champion shared from his Instagram handle. The 52-year-old rapper even reacted to the time when the Irishman broke his leg at UFC 264. Visibly disgusted at the sight of McGregor’s injury, Snoop Dogg said, “Conor McGregor broke his leg during a fight and it was nasty…But I love his tenacity and his fierce way of fighting.” Hence, we can assume that ‘Mystic Mac’ has raised his stock among the entertaining elites through his popularity in the UFC.
