The former UFC interim lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson, was managed by the same company as the former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor. However, in 2019, the 40-year-old decided to part ways with Paradigm for some reason.
Tony Ferguson, being who he is, isn’t one to shy away from speaking what he has in mind. During a recent appearance on the Jaxxon podcast, the former UFC interim champion had quite a lot of shade to throw toward Paradigm Sports.

Though not the first time that Tony Ferguson has called out Paradigm Sports, on a recent episode of Quinton Jackson’s podcast, Tony Ferguson did just that. He went off on Conor McGregor’s Management for doing him wrong when he was signed with them.
“He’s (Khabib Nurmagomedov) a little b***h. So is Connor. So you know what the funny thing is, you know, how I had my camp here… So it’s same thing we were managed by the same company. Okay, I don’t want to talk too much on it. They did a lot of dirty underground shit. In order to keep them in there. And Dana even tells me he’s like ‘Tony they did you bad’,” revealed Ferguson.

Ferguson then went on to accuse Paradigm Sports of using him as a “trailblazer” for McGregor, as the management team used information given by Ferguson to help McGregor. Which then resulted in the “Notorious” using “El Cucuy’s” biking and running routes while training. Which to Ferguson felt like a backstabbing move, considering his previous feelings towards the Irishman. He then added, “So I’ve always been like that one person that’s kind of like taking the puck and blocked off and trailing through the f**ing buck knife and trailing through the jungle like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator, doing the shit and people just be able to follow the f**ing sh*t.”
Ferguson does seem like he left his former management team on pretty bad terms. However, an old tweet from Conor McGregor would suggest otherwise.

All the way back in 2020, ‘The Notorious’ tweeted to defend his management from the allegations that were being thrown at them by Tony Ferguson. In the tweet, he wrote, “I love Tony. We represented him amazingly at Paradigm sports and were betrayed for a promise of a baseball contract. But frame and preparation here was just embarrassing. His methods and conversation are humorous/enjoyable but he was never the level perceived. Although tough.”
