

UFC 275 was action-packed and arguably one of the best cards of 2022. The main event and the fights preceding it were exhilarating and adrenaline-fueled. UFC superstar Conor McGregor paid respect to Joanna Jędrzejczyk after her stunning fight against Weili Zhang.

McGregor shared a clip posted by the UFC on his Instagram story. The clip showed Jedrzejczyk leaving the UFC building after her fight. She interacted with the fans who showed love to her as they waited for her departure.

McGregor commented and even shared this picture on his story with the caption “G.” Other fighters such as Derek Brunson and Gilbert Burns also showed appreciation for the Polish fighter in the comments.

This would be the last time Jedrzejczyk fought after an emotional retirement post knockout. Zhang knocked her out via a perfectly timed back fist.
After the fight, Jedrzejczyk announced her retirement in the post-fight interview. She said, “I’m retired, guys. I love you so much. Thank you for the support. UFC, Dana, so sorry I let you down, man.”
Conor McGregor Congratulates Prochazka
Zhang vs. Jedrzejczyk wasn’t the only thrilling fight on the card. The main event fight between Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira delivered beyond expectations.

Prochazka won the light heavyweight title after submitting Teixeira in the final moments of the fifth round. He displayed his unorthodox striking skills and unbreakable will in the fight. Teixeira answered back by using his wrestling skills to dominate Prochazka on the ground.

Prochazka pulled off the impossible in the final round. After a takedown from Teixeria, Prochazka used the cage to kick off it and reverse his position. From there, he found the neck of Teixeria and submitted him via a rear-naked choke in the final 30 seconds of the round.
