After the BJJ legend expressed himself for the amazing training sessions, it was Jones’ turn to put forth his gratitude. The UFC heavyweight champion took to Instagram and jotted down a long thank-you letter for the 5 times ADCC champion. He also shared some moments from their training together. Without a doubt, the fighters were enriched with knowledge that they didn?t previously own, and were certainly grateful for that. The simple act garnered attention from the entire world. Even Conor McGregor and Brian Ortega went to the comments section to put down their views.

Jon Jones’ Thank-You Post for Gordon Ryan

Following the intensive training with Ryan, Jones was seemingly filled with newfound energy and skills. The duo previously met at a shooting range and let the fans hype up the meet. However, when they rolled together on the mat, Jones found it extremely inspiring. He shared some moments on his Instagram and sent a token of thanks for Ryan in the caption.

Jones captioned, ?I was blessed to be able to spend about six hours a day on the mats with the greatest Nogi jujitsu athlete in the history of grappling. I?m not sure if I can ever repay @gordonlovesjiujitsu for the lessons I learned, the notes I was able to take. I do believe his generosity with his knowledge is rare. I?m forever grateful. What an inspiring individual to be around on and off the mat.? Thereafter, he thanked Ryan?s coach, John Danaher, his wife and his teammates for the inspiring week. The duo might work together yet again.

Responding to Jones’ note, Ryan took to the comments section and declared that the pleasure was all his. Undeniably, the post attracted a bit more attention.
