Conor McGregor is not the first name that comes to mind when people talk about generous mixed martial artists. However, with the high income from his businesses and being the highest-paid MMA athlete, the former double champion performed many acts of generosity. Furthermore, his favors did not only cover charities and families but also famed UFC fighters, like Paddy Pimblett and his entire team.

Conor McGregor paid Paddy Pimblett’s bill

Before his fight with Jared Gordon in UFC 282, Paddy Pimblett visited Conor McGregor’s Black Forge Inn, in Dublin. Known for his binging habits, Pimblett ordered a boatload of food. He ordered ribs and wings for appetizers and then dug into steak and a burger. Finally, he ended the binge with three servings of dessert.

Surprisingly, the fighter did not even know how much the bill was. He revealed that the ‘Notorious’ took care of it entirely. He said, “Yeah, he paid it all lad, we didn’t even see the bill. He just said I’m taking care of it but I was eating and Molly [McCann] was drinking so you can imagine how much it was.”

Pimblett spoke with McGregor while eating, and the Dubliner took care of the money. However, he didn’t fail at pointing out that the ‘Baddy’ was putting on some weight. However, the ‘Notorious’ may be a trash-talker, but he does know how to make people happy.

Conor McGregor’s generosity

McGregor not only pays his friends’ restaurant bills but also his gym. Back in 2020, a branch of Straight Blast Gym was almost forced to permanently shut down due to the financial crisis. Thankfully, the ‘Mystic Man’ came to the rescue with monetary aid.

Furthermore, the ‘Notorious’ has built eight houses for the homeless people in his hometown. The act acquired him a lot more than love and support from his countrymen. He took to Instagram and posted a few pictures of the new homes for the homeless. The Irish fighter wrote, “This is my first property development. We have 8 homes here closing in on finish. 3 bedroom houses, designed for families that currently reside in hotels around the capital, without a home to call their own. But not for long. Through the storm comes the sun!”

To add more to his story, the Dubliner donated €10,000 (around $10500 USD) to two young MMA fighters to get to the IMMAF Youth World Championships in Abu Dhabi. The boys were extremely happy when they found out that McGregor’s donation exceeded what they initially expected. McGregor even donated $500,000 to Dustin Poirier’s charity in 2021.

Paddy Pimblett received favor from the highest paid athlete in the UFC. However, this might not be the only favor he received from the UFC world. With his latest win over Jared Gordon, the internet has filled with controversies over whether Pimblett was in the judges’ favor.
