After embracing the journey of an MMA champion and businessman, Conor McGregor delved into the shiny streets of Hollywood with his debut in ‘RoadHouse’, a re-imagination of the 80s classic yet popular movie of the same name. The entire story revolves around a troubled UFC fighter who works as a bouncer Dalton( Jake Gyllenhaal) in a beach club where he meets the main antagonist Knox(Conor McGregor).

The movie was released entirely on Amazon Prime and it was supposed to be a blockbuster for McGregor but it received quite a mixed reaction from the fans. Despite the mixed signals, ‘RoadHouse’ received a massive viewership from the fans. Reagrdless, it appears that the sequel of the movie might be in the plans by Conor McGregor.

Conor McGregor teases sequel for ‘RoadHouse 2’ after turning down more movies from Hollywood

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s first paycheck from Hollywood was made by ‘The Mummy Returns’, his debut performance made him a massive $5.5 million. It was one of the biggest amounts earned through debut by any outsider. However, Conor McGregor did better with his ‘RoadHouse’. The former dual-weight champion of the world garnered a massive d $6-$10 million for his role as ‘Knox’.

Conor McGregor stated that he would not act against after his debut in Hollywood, “I’m not sure if I will go through it again, but it’s in the bank, it’s in the history books. Money can come and go, but this film will be there forever.” However, a few months have passed since the movie and McGregor appears to have changed his mind. Why? Well, the former dual weight champion of the world took to his Instagram to add a photo of him with Jake Gyllenhaal and captioned it with “RoadHouse 2”

Well, the former dual weight champion initially declined any offer that was thrown down his way for his second movie in Hollywood. ‘Notorious’ even stated that acting is a bit on the tougher side than fighting the best fighters in the world. Interestingly, this statement caused an uproar in the MMA community that even Joe Rogan took to his podcast to remind McGregor about his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
