The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler seems to be taking new turns every single day. Both fighters were scheduled to meet at UFC 303 as the main event fight. However, the Dubliner had to pull off at the last minute because of a broken toe. The 35-year-old did share the details of the injury via his Instagram account but also used the phrase “Chandler or Not.”

His post has gathered a lot of attention, but it seems that ‘Iron’ is unfazed by the reaction. Chandler is confident that McGregor will face him when he returns to the Octagon next.

Michael Chandler feels his fight with Conor McGregor is still on

While speaking to the media at UFC 303, Michael Chandler shared his opinion on McGregor’s social media post. He said, “Ya I mean I didn’t really even think about it much. He tried to steal my tagline, though I see what he did there. See you at the top”. He further stated that the Dubliner has no option but to face him when he returns.

‘Iron’ claimed, “But man, I am not really worried about that. I mean Conor can’t at this point and I have said this publicly, I am not letting him off the hook for a while there. Whenever he is ready to come back, his road back to the UFC goes straight through Michael Chandler, that’s it. “
