It appears that Logan Paul and Conor McGregor’s intended clash in India might have been sabotaged by the TKO administration as ‘Mystic Mac’ as well as ‘The Maverick’ have shunned every rumor about them fighting. The former dual-weight champion announced last year that he would fight Paul, but there was visible confusion due to McGregor having two fights left on his contract with the UFC. Breaching this contract would mean taking a bold step. Well, their fight has been seemingly called off but that doesn’t mean that ‘Mystic Mac’ is not planning to breach the contract.

During a candid interview with ‘The Schmo’, Conor McGregor gave an update about his comeback plans. The former dual-weight champion of the world made a startling confession, emphasizing that he is on a path to fight under BKFC, of which he is a part owner, “One of these days, you’ll just hear my music come onto this stage,” said McGregor.

He further added, “In Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, and I’m coming with my fists wrapped, with no gloves, and fight out of nowhere. No promo, no nothing—just fighting a random fight in a car. That could be where my future holds, and legal making claims and all those bullocks—that’s for pu–ies.”

Conor McGregor has been trying to make a comeback but with no success in sight, ‘Notorious’ is looking at his own promotion. However, it must be noted that the former UFC champ has two fights left with the UFC, and breaching them would be difficult for him especially when the UFC head honcho is planning his return under their banner.

Yes, you heard that right, Dana White in a conversation with the media stated, “Hopefully Conor McGregor returns in the fall of this year.” Two fights are all that takes for the former UFC champ to get the freedom of fighting anywhere around the world but this would mean a potential chance to tarnish his legacy through hard fights. Regardless, in another confession, ‘Notorious’ might have blamed the UFC for the Logan Paul fight fiasco.

Conor McGregor blames UFC for India fight falling through

Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul was expected to earn each fighter a massive $250 million. However, the fight may be in jeopardy, as both fighters seem to be heading in different directions. After spending a heartwarming time with the Paul brothers, the facade faded when McGregor threatened to slap each of them which forced Paul to state that McGregor is not a free man and is chained by contract. This was the last straw that broke their fight.

In his confession with ‘The Schmo,’ Conor McGregor emphasized that the UFC was totally against the idea of letting him compete outside of the promotion, “You know, it is what it is. The UFC just isn’t into it. I had the offer; it was there on the table in writing,” said McGregor. He further added, “A new market in India has opened up and is booming. It was business-savvy and made business sense to make the fight happen—or should I say, the glorified spar happen. And in between this wait, this waiting period, the UFC is not into it. I’m not sure about WWE, or what their interest is in it. I just know the UFC weren’t into it.”

Humming a rather sad tone, Conor McGregor is looking to make a return back to combat sports but the question still persists: Will he fight under UFC or the BKFC or as a free agent? Only time will tell, what’s your opinion on the situation? State your thoughts in the comments below.
