Rafael Fiziev is one of the most powerful forces to rise inside the Octagon in recent times. The Kyrgyzstani fighter currently competes in the Lightweight division of the UFC. Fiziev is known for his brutal and heavy hand strikes and fast-spinning leg kicks. His last fight with the noted fighter, ‘Rafael Dos Anjos‘ was a spectacular one in which Fiziev finished off Dos Anjos with a Round-5 TKO. The ’12-1-0’ record-holding fighter is also an avid social media enthusiast. He also uses his Twitter handle quite often, mostly to taunt and call out other fighters. Fiziev is currently on the hunt for ‘Justin The Highlight Gathje‘ which is quite evident from his Twitter handle.

Fiziev’s Twitter account contains a number of  posts in which he called out Justin Gathje. Lately, Fiziev posted a video on his Twitter account which was originally shared by ‘The Notorious One’, Conor McGregor.

The video showcased the front deck of Conor McGregor’s yacht, in which McGregor was enjoying and shooting the seas. The video also partially showcased someone with blonde hair getting a bit intimate with McGregor.

Fiziev took this opportunity to mock Gathje as he captioned this video, “BREAKING: video of @Justin_Gaethje negotiating his next fight with Conor on his boat!.”

He made a point to identify Gathje through his blonde hair, partially seen in the video.

It’s pertinent to note that Fiziev has been calling out Gathje since his win against Dos Anjos. But ‘The Highlight’ hasn’t responded to Fiziev’s hollers.

Instead, Gathje had given an interview to ‘MMAFighting.com’ about how he was ready to fight Conor McGregor once he was tested and cleared by USADA.

Fiziev responded to Gathje’s interview by sharing it on his Twitter and mentioning that he was tested by the USADA “6 times this year” and he was ready for a fight. Still, he received no revert from Gathje.

How likely is the Fiziev vs Gathje fight?

It is quite understandable that Fiziev is all up for this fight. He is trying every measure, even taunting Gathje to get his attention. ‘The Highlight’ is also known to have a never-back-down attitude. He has accepted every challenge put before him unless his opponent comes with any undue advantage.

A majority of the fans hate these types of humiliating taunts. They want the sport of MMA to be more respectful instead of the banter and trash-talking going on. But again, there are also fans who are hugely attracted to the trash talks and consider it to be a part and parcel of MMA. Which side are you on?
