McGregor published a post barely two weeks before his rematch with “Stockton Gangster” Nate Diaz. But, a majority of the netizens, chose to mock McGregor’s post.

McGregor posted a photo of himself on Facebook prior to his fight against Diaz at UFC 202. The photo showcased him with a cycle, intended to show that he was working on his cardiac capacity.

‘The Notorious One’ captioned this post as, “I’ll be back….. August 20th UFC 202. #7days”

It is pertinent to note that, after his loss to Diaz in March 2016, McGregor instantly turned his attention towards fixing the issues that cost him the fight while also becoming focused on the rematch.

‘Mystic Mac’ was reported on changing his diet, workout routine, and even shifting his training from his traditional facility in Ireland to Las Vegas. Conor preferred training in Las Vegas for better conditioning with the weather of Nevada.

McGregor also changed his training partners, bringing in a number of new ones. It was also reported that McGregor’s new training partners were chosen to provide him with training to combat Nate Diaz’s fighting style.

‘The Notorious’ in an interview with ESPN during his time at the State mentioned that all of “this is a big, big expense — but what I make is big. So, in the bigger picture, it’s rather small,”. These rather prideful words have often made him the target of derides.
