UFC star Conor McGregor has proven to be one of the most entertaining athletes in the world. ‘The Notorious’ has garnered a massive fan following through his relentless trash-talking and showboating. The 34-year-old also uses his extensive social media reach to share his opinion on various fights. Although McGregor has not been active since July 2021, he still repeatedly looks to mock and call out many UFC fighters.

‘The Notorious’ recently had a Twitter exchange with UFC Welterweight fighter Belal Muhammad. The American fighter tweeted out the words, “Unfinished business” after Leon Edwards‘ stunning knockout of Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 278.

Muhammad and Edwards had fought in March last year, where the fight was declared a no contest after an unintentional eye poke by ‘Rocky’. Muhammad chose to remind the world of his fight with Edwards, but the Irishman instead poked fun at the Welterweight fighter by reacting to his tweet in a cynical manner.

Belal Muhammad did not seem amused by McGregor’s antics and instantly replied by bringing up the Irishman’s tarnished UFC record. The Welterweight mocked McGregor for his losses to rival Dustin Poirier and even brought up ‘The Notorious’ infamous ankle injury.

What’s next for Conor McGregor

The Former Two-Division champion has been very active on his social media platforms, claiming to be ready for a potential UFC return. ‘The Notorious’ has been out of the Octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. After announcing that he has fully recovered from his brutal ankle injury, many fans have speculated that McGregor’s return is closing in.
