Papa McGregor recently destroyed Dustin Poirier. Conor McGregor’s father, Tony McGregor, recently put up a hilarious Instagram story. He shared a post that was a collage of two of McGregor’s left hooks to Poirier. ‘The Notorious’ landed a deadly blow in both fights in 2021. His Irish father did not want to leave this proud memory alone. Tony McGregor could not help himself from sharing the post appreciating his son’s achievements. `One may not be aware of the reaction of ‘The Notorious’ but his fans definitely loved this ‘thug life’ moment.

The post was shared with a background song. The song was ‘Still D.R.E.’ by Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg. It has been the epitome of ‘cool’ moments among all the memes. One can see the humor between the father and son alike.
Is Conor McGregor’s father picking a fight with Poirier?
While the senior McGregor can’t fight Poirier, it looks like he can’t wait for another fight between his son and his rival.
The post shows two of McGregor’s left hooks to ‘The Diamond’. Both are from two different matches. But in both the matches, Poirier had to witness McGregor’s deadly left hook. While sharing the post, Tony wrote, “the left hook that launched a billion.”
One can clearly see where ‘The Notorious’ got all his ‘notoriousness’ from. However, it is not just humor but also hard work that was passed on to the UFC star.

McGregor’s father worked hard to support his family
Although not an MMA fighter, Tony McGregor has definitely fought his share of life battles well. After working as a mechanic’s apprentice, Tony quit his job. He then started driving a taxi for a living and to support his family at night time. Due to this schedule, as Tony told the ‘Irish Independent’, he was able to spend time with his kids. He even took young McGregor to his Sunday morning soccer matches.
In the book written by Conor McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, ‘Win or Learn’, the economic condition of their household is explained. The McGregor family could barely spare for miscellaneous expenses.
