Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou‘s exit from the promotion invited a lot of attention from several prominent figures of the sport, including Conor McGregor. After months of negotiation, the promotion decided to part ways with their ‘biggest and baddest’ champion, as they could not reach common ground. Ngannou’s exit from the UFC brought several issues, like fighter pay and health care, to the forefront. The former champion recently revealed he had discussed those topics during his negotiations with the UFC.
Following the failed negotiations and the news of Ngannou’s exit, Conor McGregor took to social media with a message for his former colleague. In fact, many consider McGregor’s message as an offer for the biggest free agent in the combat sports market at the moment.
On his Instagram story, the Irishman advised Ngannou on the importance of having expert representation and asked him to join his management team, Paradigm Sports. For those unaware, Paradigm is one of the more prominent management teams in MMA at the moment. Until recently, they had three champions under them- Israel Adesanya, Jiri Prochazka, and Leon Edwards. However, both Adesanya and Prochazka are no longer champions.
