Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor was one of the biggest sporting events of our time. The fight was a blockbuster hit and managed to break all records in terms of revenue and viewership. What preceded it was the MayMac world tour. Where Dana White accompanied ‘Notorious’ in a world tour to promote his fight with Floyd Mayweather.

However, there was one moment that stood as a highlight during the world tour and that was ‘Notorious’ going after Showtime sports executive, Stephen Espinoza.

In a recent conversation with boxing legend Teddy Atlas, Dana White recalled the same hilarious event at the MayMac world tour, which involved Showtime Sports executive, Stephen Espinoza.

While answering a question about the incident, the UFC President shared his own perspective on the unscripted drama, “I had no idea and there was nothing awkward about it; it was incredible. You know Conor sniffed that guy out in one day. We had a stop up in… Toronto. We were in Toronto, then it was the next one.”

“By the next one he had figured that guy out and has there ever been, could you have nailed it any better? You know, not only is he a weasel, he looks exactly like a weasel, and it’s the perfectness of that guy. It’s incredible. I loved when he turns around and says ‘what… are you gonna do something?’”

He burst into laughter while narrating the story and even praised McGregor for grilling Espinoza.

“That was pretty damn good, that was pretty good.” Later, Teddy Atlas also appreciated McGregor’s theatrics.

During one of the promotional tours for the grand fight between megastars, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. The former got into a hilarious altercation with an executive of broadcasting partners, Showtime Sports. And he was none other than Showtime Sports general manager and Event Programming executive vice president, Stephen Espinoza.

At the event in Toronto, ‘Notorious’, in a wild frenzy insulted the top executive in front of a crowd of thousands. Apparently, McGregor was unhappy at the firm for cutting off his mic during a previous event. However, McGregor got his chance and left no stones unturned in an attempt to showcase his animosity.

Furthermore, The Irishman even called Espinoza a ‘Weasel’, much to the appreciation of the crowd and even White himself.
