Earlier, Twitter suspended Kanye West‘s account following his controversial interview with Alex Jones. However, Twitter hasn’t provided any information as to why Gray’s account was suspended. In light of this, the former UFC star, Jake Shields, expressed offense at this conduct and questioned those who support Elon Musk, over his ‘free speech’ advocacy. Shields has a reputation for being blunt with his opinions, and his tweets exhibit this trait rather well.
Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, there has been a constant debate on what ‘free speech’ is. Enabling the public’s right to free expression was one of Musk‘s primary objectives for purchasing this social media. Many of Bryson Gray‘s supporters were outraged after learning about the rapper’s Twitter suspension. Gray discussed the incident on Instagram and discussed what could have caused his Twitter account to be suspended. He believes his tweet on the legendary musician Elton John could be the reason.

Gray made a post writing, “I’m hearing from people on twitter that I got banned because I called Elton John gay. That’s interesting, considering the fact that Elton John is gay.”
People are led to believe that the rapper’s explanations of what may have caused the suspension of his Twitter account completely contradict the ‘free speech’ movement.
