The journalist has never been the type to shy away from speaking his mind. In recent months, Rogan has received a great deal of backlash regarding comments he made on the Covid-19 pandemic and for using racial slurs.
This led to Spotify wiping off over 7-0 episodes of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ off of their media platform. In a recent episode of his podcast show, Rogan spoke with British activist and radio host, Maajid Nawaz. Nawaz told Rogan about a new decentralized platform for hosting talk shows, which could be the next big thing for a show like Rogan’s.

Nawaz said,” I’m working with Odysee, which is an online video platform like YouTube. But it’s decentralized. So the video sits on the blockchain. So I have been speaking to Odyssey. Julian is their CEO, he’s been very kind. And I am going to put my show on this, on the platform called Odyssey, which is decentralized.”
“Odysee it’s built on Blockchain tech. Rumble, I don’t think its videos are decentralized in that way. Even if the Odysee website is removed, the library blockchain that those videos sit on, stay on the blockchain. And I will then own my own content. So that’s my idea, I wanna live my example.”
