Jack Hermansson vs. Chris Curtis: Brief overview

‘The Joker’ took on American fighter Chris Curtis and ended his undefeated streak in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night in London. This was UFC’s second Fight Night event this year inside the O2 Arena in London, England. A heavyweight bout between Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes headlined the event.

While Hermansson came into this bout with one loss, his opponent Action-Man came on the back of four fight win streak. Both the fighters displayed amazing striking from the beginning of the fight.

Although the Swedish-born Norwegian middleweight played most of the fight on the back foot, he landed some vicious strikes on his opponent. But Curtis retaliated to each of Hermansson’s strikes with the same intensity.

The Joker even had Curtis backed against the cage once in the second round after landing a monstrous punch. However, Action-Man recovered before the end of the round.

Both the fighters went to a distance. However, The Joker had done enough to get a nod from the judges on the scorecard. Despite securing a unanimous decision victory, Hermansson apologized to the fans about the fight.
