However, many fans weren’t satisfied with the Swedish-born Norwegian middleweight fighter’s performance, as he played a bit safe during the rounds. This frustrated his opponent ‘Action-Man’ during the fight and even some fans.

Despite Hermansson’s victory, some fans took to Twitter to express their frustration about his performance.

While many were throwing hate at the middleweight fighter, UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski came in his support.

“Couldn’t have said it better myself!!” Volkanovski wrote while replying to a tweet made by Bloody Elbow.

Although the Swedish-born Norwegian middleweight played most of the fight on the back foot, he landed some vicious strikes on his opponent. But Curtis retaliated to each of Hermansson’s strikes with the same intensity.

The Joker even had Curtis backed against the cage once in the second round after landing a monstrous punch. However, Action-Man recovered before the end of the round.

Both the fighters went to a distance. However, The Joker had done enough to get a nod from the judges on the scorecard. Despite securing a unanimous decision victory, Hermansson apologized to the fans about the fight.
