Australian grappling star Craig Jones created history at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 4. He fought in the main event against Felipe Pena and won the contest via the fastest escape time over the former ADCC absolute champion. Many fans have shared their reactions to it on social media.

UFC Fight Pass Invitational 4 was supposed to feature Gordon Ryan, who’s on contract with the UFC. However, due to his medical complications, ‘The King’ had to sit this one out. On the other side, Alexander Volkanovski‘s training partner registered a historic win to grab the number 1 spot in the no-gi rankings.

Craig Jones took on former ADCC champion Felipe Pena in the EBI rules match in the main event. Their fight went into overtime as Jones closed the show with a win via the fastest escape time. Both men were unable to assert themselves during the twelve-minute regulation period, which saw a few ‘get downs’. However, they ultimately contested on their feet. It was a great night for the ‘B-Team’, as they won the final two matches of the night.

None of the fighters dominated the contest, and both fighters put on their submission moves. However, it was Craig Jones who was able to escape faster than Pena and most probably earned the title of the best pound-for-pound grappler in the world. Let us take a look at what the fans had to say.
