Adesanya vs Pereira: The story so far

Adesanya and Pereira have one of the most iconic present-day rivalries. The two UFC middleweights have faced each other a total of four times in their careers. Two of those were during their kickboxing days and ‘Poatan’ won both of them. One of them was a knockout win. He followed Adesanya to the UFC and finished him at UFC 281 in November last year.

3-0 down against the Brazilian, it was all on the line for Adesanya at UFC 287. This time, fortune favored the New Zealander as he finally slayed his demon and put him to sleep. After the knockout, Adesanya used Pereira’s own archery move against him, mocking him by launching three arrows at his knocked-out body, one for each loss he gave Adesanya.
