However, many fans pointed out that Blaydes was stuttering as he spoke on the podcast. They assumed he was suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which is caused by repeated concussive blows. This annoyed the #4 ranked UFC fighter, who took to Twitter, to end the debate once and for all.

The win gave ‘Razor’ the confidence to claim a shot at the UFC heavyweight belt. He used the victorious platform to demand an interim title bout against Ciryl Gane.

‘Razor’ said, “I think I deserve an interim title shot against Ciryl Gane. I want next. I want the title shot. We can do it anytime this summer. June, July, August, I’m down.”
