Rose Namajunas was one of the major attractions on the UFC Fight 226 fight card. In the co-main event, Manon Fiorot was the opponent of the two-time strawweight champion. ‘Thug’, who has proven herself as a great fighter in the past, tried her best to dominate the French fighter who was fighting in her homeland. He wrote, “More than 99.9% of ppl to ever exist will never be close to knowing or doing what I do in a fight!! Jamahal Hill lashed out at the people who believe that Namajunas lost the bout. According to him, people who have no idea about the technicalities of MMA should not simply criticize the performance of a fighter inside the octagon. Hill strongly believes that it was the former UFC strawweight champion who put forward an impressive fight. Unfortunately, things didn’t turn in her favor, and this provoked the former UFC light heavyweight champion. And as fans will know, Hill is not the only fan that Namajunas has.

Joe Rogan holds ‘Thug’ in high regard

The UFC commentator Joe Rogan is someone who holds Rose Namajunas in high regard. Two years ago, in ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the 56-year-old detailed why he had tears in his eyes while interviewing Namajunas after she became the UFC strawweight champion for the second time. The 31-year-old first became the women’s strawweight champion after defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217. However, she later lost the strawweight belt to Jessica Andrade at UFC 237.
