Remember Dakota Ditcheva? The ferocious rising star tearing through the PFL ranks has been making headlines—and fans are demanding the UFC sign her ASAP. After her stunning victory over Taila Santos at the PFL 2024 Championships, Ditcheva caught the eye of the MMA world. Undefeated with 14 wins—12 by knockout—’Dangerous’ has proven she’s a force to be reckoned with. While the UFC has yet to make a move, her latest training video has reignited calls for her long-overdue Octagon debut.

Preparing to face Sumiko Inaba at the PFL Championship Series in July, Dakota Ditcheva is training for her 15th MMA bout inside the cage. She recently uploaded a video of herself training, once again putting the MMA community on alert. From the footage, it’s clear that Ditcheva possesses one of the cleanest, sleekest, and most destructive fighting styles in the game. As of May, she has fought 14 times and dominated all of her opponents. It’s clear that a fighter of her caliber needs tougher competition, as the PFL is struggling to find worthy challengers for her.

While having a conversation with the media, Ditcheva stated, “I’m gutted that I haven’t had anything just yet I’m just like: Get me anything. Literally, I get it’s hard for PFL. They’ve put all the girls in the tournament. Now they have to find someone that’s going to give me a good competition.” Well, after approximately six months of waiting, Donn Davis finally found a fighter for her.

Her opponent is no small name in the world of combat sports either, boasting a career record of eight victories and just one defeat. Like Ditcheva, Inaba has finished most of her opponents. A victory over Inaba might push her into the crosshairs of the UFC CEO Dana White, to offer her contract. Interestingly, in her training video, fans are completely in favor of her jumping to the UFC ship for better competition.

Fight fans want Dana White to bring undefeated PFL star Dakota Ditcheva to the UFC

Starting off, a social media user pointed out that in the UFC, Valentina Shevchenko might be the only one with striking potential comparable to Ditcheva. However, across all of MMA, Stamp Fairtex may also possess similar potential.“Easy .In the ufc no one is even close maybe Valentina ,… in all mma probably only stamp is on his level.”  It’s worth noting that Shevchenko, as the women’s flyweight champion, has significantly more experience than Ditcheva. Moreover, in her last fight against Manon Fiorot, ‘Bullet’ left her opponent bloodied.

Moreover, another social media user stated, “I’m a firm believer that everyone can look good on the pads but she’s sharp af with it, real killer.” To Ditcheva’s credit, 12 of her 14 victories have come by knockout— 9 of those were first-round finishes.

Another social media user doubted her chances against Valentina Shevchenko, “Come to the UFC then we’ll see Valentina would destroy her.” Furthermore, a social media user believes that Ditcheva might run across the UFC women’s flyweight division to become a champion, “I think so. I’d like to see her against top tier ufc fighters to prove my point, Dakota will be ufc champion and the next superstar.”

Interestingly, another social media user brought Julianna Peña into the conversation, saying, “Obviously haven’t seen Julianna Peña.” The last one was a direct plea from a fan to Dana White, “Bring her to the UFC!”
