UFC heavyweight champion of the world, Francis Ngannou, has one of the most lethal punches in the MMA scene. The 35-year-old French holds the record for hardest punch ever recorded. His hands have the power equal to a small family car.

With the help of this weapon, he has successfully knocked out his past five opponents consecutively. The most recent addition to his victim list includes former two times heavyweight champion, Steve Miocic. Although the first confrontation at UFC 220 landed in Stipe’s favor, the second didn’t go according to Miocic’s plan.

With the UFC title on the line, Francis unleashed quickly with slight breaks in the middle, preserving his energy. Miocic held his ground in the first round, but in the second got caught in a barge of punches by the challenger. This knocked out Miocic in a nasty fashion, making ‘The Predator’ the new champ.

Recently, Ngannou shared a video of him on his YouTube channel talking about some big names in the MMA and boxing world. In this video, he shared his opinions on Miocic. He started by praising the American fighter by calling him ‘the best heavyweight and the best challenge‘ he has ever had.

Francis added, “Very competitive. He’s a legit man like I remember the first time I went there and I was so underestimated, Stipe. I get so wrong about him. Then from there I kind of like really watch him with a lot of attention and he’s quite impressive how durable he is.”

Stipe Miocic’s resilience surprised Francis Ngannou

In the same video, Ngannou talked about Stipe’s endurance and movement is impressive. This quality really surprised the current champ. He stated, “I look at him. I’m like, damn, he’s not going down. Well, guess what? I’m not surprised.”

As of now, Francis Ngannou is now set to defend his title against Ciryl Gane for UFC 270‘s main event coming this January.
