‘The Outlaw’ recently appeared in an interview on famous combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani’s YouTube channel. He reacted to Covington’s publicly threatening a staff member of the UFC. Hardy believes that the UFC might exempt him from any kind of repercussions due to the amount of money he makes for the company. He said, “It’s a very case-by-case basis in the UFC. I probably wasn’t making as much money as Colby Covington is.”

Hardy then took a jibe at Dana White’s infamous slap incident on New Year’s eve by claiming that he had set the bar for these kinds of altercations. “Dana [White] set the standard on New Year’s eve, didn’t he?
