Joe Rogan and Dana White are very good friends. Such good friends that Joe Rogan has it in his contract that he would quit working for the promotion if the UFC CEO left the promotion. And the two are similar in more ways than one, including their views on free speech and their love for combat sports.

Most strikingly, however, is their physical resemblance. From a distance, it is very difficult to tell the two bald, white, buff guys apart. And apparently, it is difficult to tell them apart not just from a distance but also at arm’s length as was proven in his recent appearance on conservative commentator Sage Steele’s podcast, to which Joe Rogan had a rib-tickling reaction.

Joe Rogan reacts to Dana White being mistaken for him

After two hours of speaking with Dana White on a recent episode of her podcast, Sage Steele would ask the UFC CEO “so, what is Joe Rogan dream?” This caused the Las Vegas resident to break out in laughter and he asked Steele increduluously “you thought I was Joe?”

This, of course, delighted fans, and the moment went viral on social media. And Joe Rogan has jumped on the bandwagon. The UFC commentator, who is going to perform stand-up in Austin, posted a poster on his social media to promote his upcoming show.

Hilariously, the poster featured a picture of Dana White instead of Joe Rogan, in a clear reference to the meme that originated from Steele’s kerfufle. And fans were delighted to see the poster and went on the internet to let their thoughts known.

Fans react to the poster

Fans took to the comments section of Joe Rogan’s post and gave some pretty amusing reactions to the poster. Here is a sample of some of their comments.

One fan simply reiterated Dana White’s reaction to being mistaken for Rogan

““You thought I was Joe??” 😂”

Another wondered if Rogan and White were the same people and sarcastically asked if they had ever been spotted in the same room together:

“Has anyone actually ever seen Joe rogan and Dana white together 👀”

Rogan’s friend and comedian Tom Green felt they would merge with each other in ‘Dragon Ball Z’ style and turn into former WWE superstar Kurt Angle:

“Soon Joe and Dana will merge into their ultimate form, Kurt Angle”

One fan simply reiterated Steele’s unfortunate question that started the whole affair:

“”So what’s Joe Rogans dream” 🤣💀😭”

Another fan, with tongue firmly in cheek, felt Rogan looked a bit different in the poster:

“Your ears look longer than usual Joe”

Another agreed:

“You’ve changed Joe”

Another simply complemented ‘Joe’ since he looked good:

“Looking good Joe!”

Another was tickled at White’s disbelief at being called Joe Rogan:

That sh** was so funny…Dana was flummoxed.😂

To be fair, calling White Joe Rogan was a slip-up on Steele’s part and she did not actually think she was talking to Rogan since she had called by his correct name throughout the podcast. However, despite this, the whole thing has taken a life of its own with even Rogan roasting about her faux pas. What do you think about Rogan’s poster?
