With a powerful headkick in the first round, Garry ended the fight in less than three minutes, securing his 12th consecutive victory and leaving the entire MMA community in awe.

This performance earned him high praise from the MMA world, with many hailing him as one of the most promising young fighters in the sport. On the other hand, for ‘D-Rod,’ this was his second consecutive loss following his defeat against Neil Magny at UFC Vegas 64.

“I was in a little meeting, should we say, with the big boys. With Dana, Hunter and Sean Shelby.”, said the Irishman.

The 25-year-old further added, “And we just spoke about- I said to them, ‘Hey, if you heard about my six fight plan?’. And they said no. I said, ‘I fight two guys in Top 15, two guys in the Top 10 [and] two guys in Top 5. And I said, ‘Do you wanna know why?’. And he goes, ‘Why?’. [I said,] ‘It’s because I never want anyone to ever to doubt my success. I never want any question marks on my career. So, I am going to grab that. I am going to earn everything and get it my way. He said, ‘Love it’.”
