With UFC 295 fast approaching, UFC CEO Dana White has announced yet another blockbuster fight for UFC on ESPN+ 91. The promotion will be returning to host yet another event in Texas with a lightweight clash on the card. White announced that Beneil Dariush, who lost his last fight, will take on Arman Tsarukyan.
Tsarukyan has proved to be a promising fighter who took Islam Makhachev to the limit in his first UFC fight. He nearly defeated the reigning lightweight champion. And now, Beneil Dariush was on his way to earn a title shot. However, he could not edge past Charles Oliveira at UFC 289. He has to get back in line to fight once again to get back into title contention. As such, Dana White has announced yet another fight for him this year, which will take place in Texas. Let’s see what Dana White had to say.

The UFC’s return to Texas will see some amazing lightweight fighters on the card. However, the main event is the most exciting part of the fight. Beneil Dariush, who was on an 8-fight winning streak before losing to Charles Oliveira at UFC 289, will take on Arman Tsarukyan, who’s on a 2-fight winning streak. Dana White believes that this is going to be an exciting fight, which is why he decided to give it the main event spot for the event in Austin.

Dan Hooker and Kelvin Gastelum to feature in UFC Austin
Dana White added yet another lightweight clash for the event in Austin. The co-main event will have Dan Hooker take on Bobby Green. ‘The Hangman’ is on a roll with two consecutive wins. His recent fight against Jalin Turner was a war, where he grabbed the win via a split decision. Green, on the other hand, also has a two-fight winning streak and is coming off an impressive first-round knockout win over Grant Dawson.
In addition to that, Kelvin Gastelum will also fight in the event against none other than Sean Brady. The 31-year-old was initially scheduled to fight Shavkat Rakhmonov. However, he suffered an injury during training that ruled him out of that event. Now, he will take on Brady, who only has one loss in his UFC career so far.
